Requirement Registers

Requirement Registers are useful for clients wishing to have a list of the main requirements extracted from EHS regulations applicable to their operations. The Requirement Register is essentially a tool for following up on the level of EHS compliance on a continuous basis. The Requirement Register can be used to show compliance with the requirement in ISO 14001 and 45001 standards to identify and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. It is suitable for clients who wish to gain a readily identified list of requirements instead of a list of regulations.

The Requirement Register allows the user to:

  • stay on top of the detailed everyday management of EHSQ compliance,
  • understand the most important requirements laid out in regulations; and
  • continuously monitor performance and evaluate compliance.

The Requirement Registers:

  • provide access to summaries of the regulations as well as the individual requirements,
  • allow users to assess compliance and assign a responsible person for each requirement,
  • allow users to track the status of each requirement, tag requirements, record notes, add reminders and attachments,
  • perform applicability analysis for each requirement,
  • search and filter requirements by, for example, free text, specific topic area, responsible person or tags; and
  • track daily progress and the current status of the requirement register through dashboards.

The Requirement Update Report allows users to:

  • create a static report on the regulatory changes that have occurred during a selected time period; and
  • be informed of the availability of new update reports in the system.

Legal Registers

Legal Registers are useful for clients wishing to have a list of EHS regulations applicable to their operations. The Legal Register is essentially a list of applicable laws and regulations with links to the full text. The Legal Registers can be used to fulfil the requirement in ISO 14001 and 45001 standards to identify and comply with relevant regulatory requirements. It is suitable for those clients who wish to have a regulatory list to work with and are prepared to undertake the more detailed applicability assessment themselves.

The  Legal Register allows the user to:

  • review general applicability as defined in legislation; and
  • include site-specific applicability in a free text field.

The Regulatory Update Reports allows the user to:

  • create a static report on the regulatory changes that have occurred during a selected time period; and
  • be informed of the availability of new update reports in the system.
